Need help with referencing styles? Start with this helpful guide.

Formatting

Notes

  • The reference list is placed at the end of the assessment on a new page.
  • The heading 'References' should be centered at the top of the page.
  • The reference entries should be listed in numerical order.
  • The order of the reference list should follow the order of citation in the text of the assessment (not alphabetical).
  • The reference list entry should be single spaced with double line spaces between each entry.
  • Abbreviations are used for the titles of publications and publishers. Refer to IEEE Reference Guide (2022) for examples. If there is no relevant example spell out the word.
