What is a shareable link?
A shareable link is a link to a reading list citation or section, anywhere in your Canvas site.
There are conditions to be considered before using shareable links:
- Shareable links can only be added and edited by lecturers in Canvas, library staff cannot do this for you.
- Shareable links can only be rolled over when the teaching period has ended, and the course is not active.
-
Reading list with shareable links can only be rolled over once. This is because if reading list A is rolled over into reading list B, and rolled over a second time into reading list C, then shareable links will point to reading list C. Reading list B will miss out.
