Can 'hallucinate', that is, create false output to fill text; requires credibility check on content. Offers a free version & more advanced paid version.
Copilot Formerly known as Bing. Because it uses GPT-4 and is connected to the internet, its responses have more chance of using up-to-date sources. Copilot provides links to where it obtained information, so that you can check responses for accuracy and authority.
Gemini Free to use. Previously known as BARD. Use Gemini to supercharge your ideas, write, learn and plan.
Perplexity Output from a prompt request includes web resources. Sources not scholarly. Chatbot like ChatGPT, but in answering questions cites links within the response. Free to use. More up to date than ChatGPT.
HuggingChat Can create texts like summaries; essays, letters, emails, song lyrics and excel formulas. It is prone to hallucinations.
Caktus Draws academic resources from its own database; intended for students. Choose from over 40 different tools that help with writing and maths tasks.
