Notes

  • Cite an ebook as you would a print book.
  • Author names should be provided as they appear on the title page of the book.
  • Initials in names should not be separated or followed by a full stop.
  • If there are more than three authors, the name of the author appearing first on the source should be included, followed by 'et al'.
  • For books with an editor (rather than an author), the name of the editor should appear in the same manner as an author's name and be followed by 'ed' for one editor or 'eds' for multiple editors.
  • There is no full stop after abbreviations such as vol, ed, eds, or et al.
  • In the bibliography, the first author's name should be inverted (i.e. Surname, Given Names).
  • Bibliography entries do not end with a full stop. They also don't have a pinpoint.
  • For complete guidelines, refer to AGLC4 Rule 6 (page 98).
